Dottus was founded in 1991 by Dario and his brother Renato, with the goal of developing new contemporary metal design furniture accessories, alongside the parent company already active since 1975. From the very beginning, Dario began travelling the world in search of new styles and ideas, building a design approach that blends the Italian spirit with influences from American and German aesthetics.

In 1994, Dottus opened its first Concept Store in Italy, offering a curated selection of modern and contemporary design furniture accessories for home and office. A still unusual idea at the time, built around a precise concept: Made in Italy design with an international vision.

Over the years the brand grew, with franchise stores across Italy and corners inside other stores. International collaborations followed, with the opening of Dottus USA and Dottus FRANCE. In parallel, Dottus developed the design and production of shop displays for international brands, working with a wide range of materials and expanding its manufacturing expertise.

Thirty years of research, travel and product development that have defined a recognisable style, always faithful to one simple idea: doing well what we love to do.
